A Previously-Funded NIH Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network Consortium

Call for Abstracts for the PIDTC Scientific Workshop

Dear PIDTC Investigators and study teams,

We are happy to have received a number of abstracts so far for the next PIDTC Scientific Workshop. Given the timing of the submission, which included holiday time, and to support a robust and stimulating abstract and poster session, we are extending the deadline for submission by one week. The new deadline is January 13th, 2026 at 5pm PST.

Please remember that we expect every Core center to submit at least one abstract. Submission by trainees and/or CRAs is encouraged. Abstracts may be single informative cases, single-center or multi-center, retrospective or prospective, laboratory or clinical research.

The Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) is a previously funded research group of the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN), which is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and led by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) through its Division of Rare Diseases Research Innovation (DRDRI). PIDTC received funding under grant number U54AI082973 as a collaboration between NCATS and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This website is hosted by the network’s Data Management and Coordinating Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, which is funded by NCATS and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke NINDS) under grant number TR002818. The content of this website is solely the responsibility of the PIDTC administrative coordinating center at University of California, San Francisco and does not necessarily represent the official views of the NIH.
